Besh Steak
Besh Steak is located at the
popular Harrah’s Casino in the heart of New Orleans. It does not look like
a typical steakhouse, and the menu does not read like that of a typical
steakhouse. Chef John Besh savors the opportunity to explore their
creativity within the traditional definition of that all-American
institution, the steakhouse, with distinct influences from Louisiana and a
touch of European flair. Chef Besh works closely with local farmers and
purveyors to create ever-changing seasonal menus. Consequently, the menu
strongly reflects the locale, rich in seafood and New Orleans flavors: The
Besh Barbequed Shrimp; Creamy Crawfish Boil Bisque; Crabmeat and Brown
Butter Crusted Louisiana Sheepshead with Plaquemine Parish Citrus; and,
being a steakhouse, the Cast-Iron Roast Ribeye of Prime Beef with Peppercorn
Sauce and Fries are not to be missed! Besh pays tribute to his first-born
son and his favorite dessert with Brendan’s Bread Pudding.
