Café NOMA is one of the city’s exciting new restaurants specializing in tapas style appetizers and bigger plates – created with seasonal produce and presented in clever, contemporary style, but keeping true to traditional tastes. Treat your taste buds to casual fare, from light bites of Artisanal Cheeses & Charcuterie Plates to crisp Salads, warm pressed Paninis and specialty Flatbread Pizzas. Chef Chris Montero is passionate about working with artisan suppliers and local family run farms, embracing the philosophy of the museum that glorifies the local craftsmen and artists in the community. 

Ralph Brennan’s recently expanded café NOMA is a fresh interpretation of another cool classic, now enjoying a stylish revival: mid-century modern. Food and art meld together in this relaxing and intimate space, nestled among the winding lagoons and lush greens of historic City Park, and located just inside the New Orleans Museum of Art. Step onto the outdoor patio, sip wine with friends, and enjoy the spectrum of artful colors that the park has to offer. Cafe admission is free everyday via the front desk at NOMA – just request a sticker.

Semi-private lunches for groups up to 30 are available during museum hours Tuesday – Sunday. For groups larger than 30, our creative culinary and sales team will dream up a customized picnic lunch for you and your guests to enjoy in NOMA's adjacent Sculpture Garden or in historic City Park.

Host your next corporate dinner or social cocktail reception at Café NOMA or under the stars in our adjacent courtyard. Courtyard access is available after 6 pm, every night of the week with the exception of Friday nights, when NOMA hosts their popular Where Y'art Programs.
