Menu: |
|
TenPenh offers
diners a diverse menu of contemporary Asian-Pacific cuisine, with flavors
that are inspired by the cuisines of Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia,
Japan, Singapore, and the Philippines. The influence from these areas
provides a vast and rich array of flavors ranging from traditional dishes of
the Philippines to delicate intricate tastes of Thailand, and the
tantalizing diversity of Vietnamese cuisine. |
| |
| Venue |
TenPenh's exterior blends with the bold and
powerful buildings of downtown DC. 1001 Pennsylvania Avenue is a modern
high-rise, but the interior of the restaurant has been transformed into one
reflecting Asian culture, with silk wall coverings, an eighteenth-century
Buddha, and a gold leaf open Pogoda, which highlights the exposed kitchen
through the archway. TenPenh's "show" pastry kitchen is encased in glass so
you can stroll byu on the 10th Street side and observe the pastry chef and
his staff creating culinary treats. |
